Mutomo town is the administrative center of KITUI SOUTH constituency.
It is located about 70 KM from Kitui Town and 230 KM from NAIROBI.

There are two big camps of POLICE SERVICE,
1-ADMINISTRATION POLICE
2-KENYA POLICE 

Each with more than 150 officer.

Sub-county headquarters are along Mutomo-Mutha road 1 KM from the town.
You'll find ALL the sub-county offices here.

Some many years back here was one of the Kenya's poorest in Clean Water supply and poor infrastructure & roads.

Through our Governor Her Excellency Charity Kaluki Ngilu,Mutomo residents are celebrating that joy of having some clean water for FREE.Those Mobile clinics Mashinani(rural) areas it's all by MAMA(Respectful name given to our GOVERNOR by resident, meaning MUM) and for real,she deserves this.No one like MAMA.

Can't forget about HER good job when in Ministry of Health & Ministry of Water(that's another story)

Leave alone County Government, in that side we have got a HERO.She will do better & best than HIM.

Now let's come to our National Government,that of KENYATTA Jnr.
